A credit union is a member-owned, not-for-profit financial institution that provides banking services to its members. Unlike banks, credit unions are governed by their members rather than shareholders.
Vision One is funded by deposits from independent optometrists, optometric associations and societies, optometric colleges, and organizations that support private practice optometry. These member deposits are reinvested directly back into independent optometry, not other medical professions or unrelated industries—strengthening the profession we collectively serve.
A minimum balance of $25.00 is required to maintain your Regular Share Account and remain a member of Vision One Credit Union.
Make a member-initiated transaction (deposit or withdrawal) at least once every 12 months. Keep your contact information, such as your mailing address, phone number and email up to date.
If an account remains dormant for a long period (usually 2 to 5 years, depending on state law), Vision One is legally required to close the account and transfer the remaining funds to your state's treasury department as unclaimed property.
Yes. The funds are not lost, but they are turned over to the state's unclaimed property division. You will need to file a claim directly with your state’s treasury or controller's office to retrieve your money.
With your Vision One Credit Union VISA debit card, you have access to your account via the CO-OP ATM and Shared Branch Network. Click on the following link CO-OP Network to find the locations nearest you.
We participate in shared branching with Co-op, a cooperative effort between credit unions nationwide to assist each other’s members. As a result, you can conduct business on your Vision One Credit Union accounts at other credit unions throughout the country as though you were at your local branch (with some service restrictions).

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is an added layer of security for your online banking account. It requires you to provide two forms of identification when logging in: something you know (like your password) and something you have (such as a one-time code sent to your phone or generated by an app). This is used to better protect your account from unauthorized access and verify your identity when logging in from unrecognized devices.
No. We will never ask for your online banking password, PIN, full social security number, or one-time passcode by phone, text message, or email.
